I'm Koen Verhellen, an engineer by training and a leader by passion. Throughout my career in manufacturing, operations and general management, from semiconductors, software and building materials to cars, trucks and buses, one thing has never changed: I love building better performing companies together with the people who make them work. I truly believe every organisation has untapped potential. Unlocking it, side by side with motivated, talented teams, is where I create the most value and find the most joy.
What drives me
The best moment in any project is seeing a team realise what it can do. I've seen it on the shop floor, in management teams and in boardrooms. When people get clarity, trust and a shared goal, they achieve things nobody thought possible. Helping make that happen is what gets me up in the morning.
To me, business is a way to make a positive difference. Companies that run well create good jobs, deliver products customers can rely on and build a more sustainable future.
